I live in the city but for a number of years now, whenever I visit my parents in Beaconsfield our “go to place “is Tulip Thai .. I have visited Thailand 8 times …I know my Thai food …and tulip Thai is worth the 1 hr train travel from the city .. I have not found a Thai restaurant in the city that even compares in taste and fresh produce.... We are creatures of habit and always order the same every time .. Special Fried rice with luscious massive prawns , juicy chicken satay skewers , chicken with cashew nuts and any flavour of curry is to die for .. The curry is creamy deliciousness every time and the best thing is that because the servings are so massive we takeaway the left overs and eat the next day .. Yes my friends , just as good as the night before .. A lovely girl serves us always and is helpful and super friendly., I’m saddened that it has taken this long to write a review but when I chowed down on my green chicken curry for breakfast, I knew that today was going to be the day that I would finally write one ..

A gem in Beaconsfield. Brought family who was greeted by a cozy, warm and elegant ambience. We had our fill with an average of $25 per person. It is BYO. The best option is to cross the road to the bottle shop to get reasonable wine options. For instance, house chardonnay is $9.50. Too pricey! Food was above average. A gem as I said. Ambience was excellent. They should bring down their wine list prices! Ginger fish was okay. Fillets not whole fish. Coles stuff. Nothing of the whole fish that is steamed succulently in restos at Chinatown.
